Before deleting
Deleting local data permanently removes saved account tokens, configuration, logs, and publishing history from this Windows account. It does not delete videos already uploaded to or published on TikTok, YouTube, or Facebook.
Delete all local application data
- Disable background publishingOpen Account Connections and turn off the Windows background publisher so no scheduled job starts during deletion.
- Cancel unwanted jobsOpen Schedule & Queue and cancel any queued job that should not run.
- Disconnect each platformUse Disconnect for TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. TikTok and YouTube first attempt token revocation; Facebook removes its locally stored Page token.
- Close MultiPost StudioConfirm that the application and its background process are no longer running.
- Delete the local folderIn Windows File Explorer, enter
%LOCALAPPDATA%in the address bar and permanently delete theMultiPostStudiofolder. - Revoke connected-app accessCheck the connected-app or security settings of TikTok, Google, and Meta and revoke any remaining MultiPost Studio authorization.
What this removes
- Locally encrypted OAuth tokens, refresh tokens, Page tokens, and supplied API client secrets.
- Local configuration, account identifiers, captions, schedules, job history, platform status, and logs.
What this does not remove
- Videos or drafts already transferred to a third-party platform.
- Published posts, comments, or platform account information held by TikTok, Google, YouTube, Meta, or Facebook.
Delete those items directly in the relevant platform. MultiPost Studio does not operate a backend that holds a second copy of local application data, so the operator cannot remotely erase files stored only on the user's PC.
